The Modern Guitarist is run by Alex Hodge, a musician based in London, UK.

 

He is highly proficient in many styles, from Funk and Reggae, to Shred and Progressive Metal, and is constantly developing his abilities.

 

He obtained a Diploma of Higher Education from The Academy of Contemporary Music and has an AET/PTLLS teaching qualification. He is Enhanced DBS checked and is trained in Safeguarding & Prevent as well as Equality & Diversity.

 

He is covered by Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and Musical Instrument & Equipment Insurance.

 

He is the pit orchestra guitarist for the Forest Musical Society, has provided guest solos, recorded music for advertisements and played in worship settings.

 

He teaches guitar for Hillingdon Music Service, Praxis Performing Arts, as well as other organisations and additionally has a private teaching practice.
